Roadranger® Extends Extended Protection Plan To Fleets, Owner-Operators
Fleets and owner-operators may now purchase
extended warranties on Eaton and Dana drivetrain
components. The new Roadranger® Extended
Protection Plans are available for one or two years of
additional protection and cover all Fuller® medium-
and heavy-duty transmissions, Fuller medium- and
heavy-duty clutches, and Dana's Spicer® medium-
and heavy-duty drive axles.

ExxonMobil Introduces DTE 700 Series High-Performance Turbine Oil
ExxonMobil has announced the global introduction of
its new high performance Mobil DTE 700 Series
turbine oil. Mobil DTE 700 is designed for use in light
and moderate-duty gas turbines, as well as steam
turbines. Mobil DTE 700 meets or exceeds 19 major
industry and OEM's specifications for gas and steam
turbine oils, including those of Alstom, GE, Mitsubishi
Heavy Industries and Siemens.

Major Oil Companies Report 2nd Quarter 2007 Earnings
During this past week, ExxonMobil, BP, Shell,
Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Ashland/Valvoline, and
Petro-Canada reported 2nd Quarter 2007 profits and
revenues. For the first six months of 2007, ExxonMobil
generated record earnings of $19.5 billion, up 4
percent from $18.76 billion a year ago, although
second quarter 2007 net income fell approximately
1% to $10.26 billion. Chevron's 24 percent increase in
second quarter net income was the best among the
world's biggest oil companies, primarily due the sale
of a stake in Dynegy Inc. ConocoPhillips' net income
plunged 94 percent to $301 million, Royal Dutch Shell
announced an 18 percent gain in profit, to $8.67
billion, and BP's net income rose 1.5 percent to $7.38
billion.

Chrysler Announces Lifetime Powertrain Warranty
Chrysler has announced that it will extend its
powertrain warranty from the 3-year/36,000-mile Basic
Limited Warranty to a new Lifetime Powertrain
Warranty. The new Chrysler Lifetime Powertrain
Warranty applies to most new Chrysler, Jeep® and
Dodge vehicles purchased from dealer inventory and
delivered on or after July 26, 2007.

Study Shows Shell Retakes Top Spot in Global Lubricants Market in 2006
Shell has reclaimed the number one position in the
world lubricants market, according to data from a
recently completed study by analysts at Kline &
Company, a worldwide management consulting and
market research firm. The data shows Shell edging
out its largest competitor, albeit by a slim margin, just
one year after ExxonMobil had achieved the top
position.
