ArvinMeritor has recently revised its Preventive Maintenance and Lubrication Manual for Bus & Coach, Trailer, and Truck. This 231 page manual provides maintenance intervals and procedures, lubricant specifications, approved lubricants, lubrication intervals, and product capacities for Meritor components.

Last week, CITGO announced that it will implement list and customer specific price increases on all finished lubricants by 18% effective with shipments occurring on and after September 1, 2008. BP Lubricants has announced a recent (July 6, 2008) Price Increase Revision to its previously announced price increase amounts by up to 26% in total, and ConocoPhillips, Shell, Chevron and ExxonMobil also recently increased finished lube prices.

Gardner Denver has entered into separate share purchase agreements with the holders of 100 percent of the outstanding shares of CompAir Holdings Limited ("CompAir"), a leading global manufacturer of compressed air and gas solutions. The acquisition places a total enterprise value of the business at £197.5 million (approximately $395 million).

Solutia has announced a global price increase of up to 25% for its full line of Therminol(r) heat transfer fluids. This increase will vary by product, packaging, world area and currency of sale, and applies to orders shipped on or after August 7, 2008, for all non-contract customers and where contracts allow.
