Eaton has revised its Roadranger Products Approved Lubricants List (TCMT0020), updating domestic (US) lubricant suppliers and products. This Approved Lubricants List contains transmission and drive axle lubricants approved by Eaton and Dana for use with the Roadranger Extended Warranties. Eaton has also revised its TCMT0021 Roadranger Products Lubrication Manual, which covers lubrication of its transmissions, drive axles, steer axles, clutches, brakes, driveline, and wheel ends.

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is responding to rising diesel fuel costs with its SynDurance 5W-40 Heavy Duty Engine Oil and the GreenWay Family of Lubricants. The CITGO HD GreenWay program is comprised of a family of synthetic products along with the company's LubeAlert® Oil Analysis Program.

Shell secured the top spot as the global market share leader, supplying 13% of all finished lubricants in 2007, edging out its largest competitor, ExxonMobil, which accounted for an 11% market share, according to data from a soon-to-be-released study by analysts at Kline & Company. BP, Chevron, and PetroChina round out the top five lubricant marketers.
