Arcelor Mittal Finalizes Acquisition of Mexican Steel Producer Sicartsa
Arcelor Mittal has announced that it has finalized on
April 20 the acquisition of Sicartsa, a Mexican
integrated steel producer, from Grupo Villacero, for an
enterprise value of $1,439 million, following all
required approvals of the transaction, including by US
and Mexican competition authorities.

Essar Global to Acquire Minnesota Steel
Essar Global Limited, through its wholly owned
subsidiary, Essar Steel Holdings Limited, has
announced that an agreement has been executed to
acquire Minnesota Steel LLC, a US based steel
company which controls iron ore resources of over 1.4
Billion tonnes.

Essar Global to Acquire Algoma Steel for US$ 1.58 Billion
Essar Global Limited, through its wholly owned
subsidiary Essar Steel Holdings Limited, has
announced that it has signed a definitive arrangement
agreement providing for the acquisition by Essar of all
of the common shares of Algoma for an aggregate
equity value of Canadian $1.8 billion, payable in cash.

CHS Acquires Nor-Lakes Liquid Lubricant Business and The Farm-Oyl Company
CHS Inc. has signed a purchase agreement to
acquire the liquid lubricants business of Nor-Lakes
Services Midwest, Inc., of Hugo, Minn., and The Farm-
Oyl Company of St. Paul, Minn. The closing on the
purchase is expected to occur April 30, 2007.

ConocoPhillips and Tyson Foods, Inc. have
announced a strategic alliance to produce and market
the next generation of renewable diesel fuel, which
will help supplement the traditional petroleum-based
diesel fuel supply. The alliance plans to use beef,
pork and poultry by-product fat to create a
transportation fuel.
