IPSCO Confirms Talks of Possible Sale of Company
In response to market rumors and noting recent
appreciation in its stock price, IPSCO Inc. has
confirmed that it is currently in discussions that could
lead to a potential acquisition of the Company. It has
been reported that Evraz Group SA, Russia's biggest
steelmaker, is in talks to acquire IPSCO.

Roadranger Issues Revised Approved Lubricants List
Roadranger has again revised its Roadranger
Products Approved Lubricants List (TCMT0020),
having just done so in January 2007. This Approved
Lubricants List contains transmission and drive axle
lubricants approved by Eaton and Dana for use with
the Roadranger Extended Warranties. The list
includes 500,000 mile Extended Drain Lubricants for
Transmissions - Eaton Specification: PS-164 R7, and
for Drive Axles - Dana Specification: SHAES-256 Rev
C.

ConocoPhillips Lubricants API CJ-4 Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oils Meet Caterpillar Specifications ECF-1-a, ECF-2 and ECF-3
ConocoPhillips Company has announced that its line
of API CJ-4 diesel engine oils are also compliant with
the new Caterpillar Engine Crankcase Fluid (ECF) -2
and ECF-1-a specifications. These products, which
were previously qualified as Cat ECF-3, were
designed for use in the 2007 or later model engines
equipped with diesel particulate filters (DPF) and
catalysts for exhaust aftertreatment.

Total's ELF Solaris Line of Synthetic Motor Oils Now Available in the United States
Total recently announced that its ELF Solaris line of
synthetic motor oils is now available in the United
States and Canada. Solaris is the first synthetic motor
oil made especially for low-sulfur diesel systems.
This new line of 5W-30 high-performance synthetic
lubricant is specially formulated for newer vehicles
equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and
other post-treatment filters, such as those used in
Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagon and Nissan
automobiles.

Michelin to Close Mogadore, Ohio Tire Plant
Michelin North America, Inc. has announced that it will
close its Mogadore, Ohio tire plant and consolidate
tire production to its BFGoodrich Tire Manufacturing
facility in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The transfer of production
will begin in July and be completed by the end of
October 2007, when the Mogadore facility will end
production operations.
