ArvinMeritor Forms Global Ride Control Business
ArvinMeritor, Inc. has announced its commitment to
develop its global ride control businesses as an
integral part of the company’s overall vehicle stability
strategy. This will involve the integration of design,
manufacturing and distribution of light-, medium- and
heavy-duty original equipment and replacement shock
absorbers and struts. The new organization will also
include the 100-year old Gabriel light vehicle
aftermarket business previously held in discontinued
operations.

CRST International Announces Formation of Two New Operating Companies: CRST Dedicated Services and CRST Capacity Solutions
CRST International, one of the largest privately-held
transportation companies in the country, has
announced that it has formed two new Operating
Companies in response to customer and market
demand. The two new companies that it has formed
are CRST Dedicated Services and CRST Capacity
Solutions.

Mitsui USA To Acquire Steel Technologies
Mitsui USA and Steel Technologies Inc. have
announced the signing of a definitive agreement
pursuant to which Mitsui USA will acquire all
outstanding shares of Steel Technologies for $30 per
share. The all-cash transaction, valued at
approximately $532 million, is subject to shareholder
approval and regulatory review, and is expected to
close by the end of June.

Auto Hauler Allied Holdings To Be Taken Over By Yucaipa Cos.
Allied Holdings, Inc. has announced that a joint plan of
reorganization of Allied Holdings, Inc. and affiliated
debtors was filed on Friday, March 2, 2007, by Allied,
affiliates of The Yucaipa Companies, LLC and the
Teamsters National Automotive Transportation
Industry Negotiating Committee ("TNATINC"). Allied
announced that a disclosure statement in regard to
the plan of reorganization was filed as well. The filings
were made in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the
Northern District of Georgia.
