Roadranger® Offers Extended Protection Plan for Vocational Vehicles
Fleets and owner-operators who specialize in mixer,
dump, refuse, logging, mining and other vocational
applications may now purchase extended warranties
on Eaton and Dana drivetrain components. The new
Roadranger Extended Protection Plan is available for
one or two years of additional protection and covers
all of Fuller® medium- and heavy-duty transmissions,
Fuller medium- and heavy-duty clutches, and Dana’s
Spicer® medium- and heavy-duty drive axles.

FedEx Freight Launches Long-Haul LTL Service, Expands Canadian Footprint
FedEx Corp.has announced the official launch of its
new long-haul less-than-truckload (LTL) service,
FedEx National LTL. Additionally, the company
formally launched direct LTL service in Canada
through the newly-formed FedEx Freight Canada. The
addition of these services, combined with the
industry-leading regional service provided by FedEx
Freight, offers a more comprehensive solution for LTL
customers and expands the FedEx portfolio.

Eaton Releases Comprehensive Hydraulics Manuals For Industrial And Mobile Markets
Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation
released the latest edition of its Industrial Hydraulics
Manual January 15, on the heels of last year’s Mobile
Hydraulics Manual. Developed by industry experts
within Eaton’s Fluid Power Training group, both
manuals provide fluid power instruction for
universities, technical colleges and companies that
work with fluid power.

Growth Rates For Synthetic Lubricants Expected to Far Outpace Conventional Lubricants
Growth rates for synthetic and semi-synthetic
lubricants are expected to far outpace conventional
lubricants in the near future, presenting healthy
profits to lube formulators and marketers. While
growth of the global market for conventional
lubricants is expected to average about 1% annually
through 2010, synthetic lubricants are likely to grow
by more than 6% a year.
