Chevron, Shell and Conoco Increase Finished Lubricant Prices
Chevron Products Company has announced a
general price increase for lubricating oils by an
average of 5% to 9%, and all gear lubes and greases
by an average of 3% to 5%, to be effective December
10, 2007. Shell Lubricants followed suit by
announcing to its US marketers that it will increase
the price of its lubricants by up to 10%, effective
January 14, 2008 and ConocoPhillips announced late
Friday November 16 that effective January 1, 2008, it
will raise its prices for all lubricants approximately 5 -
9%.

Shell Rotella T Receives Approval from MTU and Deutz
Shell Lubricants has announced that Shell Rotella® T
motor oil with Triple Protection technology has
recently been approved as meeting MTU Oil Category
2 and Deutz DQC III-05 specifications for diesel
engines used in construction, agriculture and other
applications.

Eaton, Valvoline Introduce New Premium Hydraulic Fluid
Valvoline and Eaton Corporation's Hydraulics
Operations have introduced Valvoline and Eaton's
Premium Hydraulic Fluid, the first anti-wear, high-
performance hydraulic fluid designed by a major
manufacturer of hydraulic systems and equipment in
collaboration with Valvoline. Valvoline and Eaton's
Premium Hydraulic Fluid is produced in ISO 32, ISO
46, and ISO 68 viscosities. It is available through the
Eaton distribution channel in North America.

Dow Announces UCON Hydrolube Fire Resistant Hydraulic Fluids Price Increase
The Dow Chemical Company has announced that it
will raise all off-list prices of UCON Hydrolube fire
resistant hydraulic fluids in North America effective
December 1, 2007, or as contracts allow. The
increase will be in the amount of US$0.02 per pound
or US$0.18 per gallon for all UCON Hydrolube
concentrates and thickeners, and US$0.02/lb or
US$0.18 per gallon for fully formulated fluids and high
pressure fluids.
